What's inside a Capacity Max System?

Here one example of a Capacity Max system. This is a 3 site system with a single CMSS and 2 repeaters on each site. Of course, there are a multitude of configurations and different levels of redundancy.

Postum: This post dates from 2016 when Capacity Max was fairly new. Although most of the information in the diagram is still relevant, some of the default/recommended IP addresses have changed. For example, the CMSS now (anno 2024) uses addresses in the 172.21.0.0/24 subnet.
