MOTOTRBO: Capacity Max Site Restriction via Talkgroup Authentication

As of R2.10.5, a Capacity Max system can optionally be configured to deny a registration request of a radio, when the selected talkgroup(s) is not allowed at a particular site.
When a registration is denied, the radio will ignore the site and continue looking for another control channel (RF site).

For example, a Capacity Max system consists of 10 sites. The "Refractory Inbound" talkgroup is configured in the SUbscriber Access Control table, to only operate on sites 3; 4 and 6. User 10183 goes to lunch in a different area of the plant and her radio now can only see sites 6 and 8 - as these are the only RF sites that are currently in range inside the canteen.
Even though the signal from site 8 is better, the radio will only register on site 6 because "Refractory Inbound" is not allowed on site 8.
If this user went to another area in the plant, out of range from sites 3; 4 and 6, the radio would show registration denied because all the sites that can be "seen" by the radio are not allowed when  "Refractory Inbound" is selected.

Previously, the radio would be able to roam to any site, no matter which Talkgroup is currently selected. If the user tried to make a call to that Talkgroup, they would get a Call Denied error but would remain registered on that site.
