No more DVDs

For many years, MOTOTRBO software was also available on DVD. RDAC, in particular, was only available on DVD. This has now changed and all of the software (including RDAC) is now only available as a digital download. Motorola Solutions Resellers can either get the required files from their distributor or from myview.motorolasolutions.com at no charge.

This will not make a difference for most people since they probably never ordered those DVDs but some customers did - especially those in countries where internet access is a problem or where the host PC is locked down and/or air-gapped. In this case, my suggestion would be to speak with your Motorola Solutions account manager so they can make a plan to get you (or your customer) an original DVD or USB stick.

For my workplace-customers, if needed, I'm happy to send them a USB stick with the latest MOTOTRBO software and a letter (with checksums) confirming its authenticity.
