20 years gone ...

At the IWCE Exhibition on 17 May 2006, Motorola announced the introduction of a new digital LMR product portfolio known as MOTOTRBO. By that time, the initial technical specifications were published and my colleagues and I had attended staff training in Basingstoke around July of the previous year where we got to play with the prototypes (see below).

In the last twenty years, thanks in part to this technology, I've had the chance to work on some interesting projects, visit unusual places and meet some really great people.
