Introducing the MOTOTRBO DM1400 and DM1600
This week Motorola Solutions officially launched the MOTOTRBO DM1400 and DM1600 mobile two-way radios. The MOTOTRBO DM1000 Series mobile radios offer the benefits of the latest technology from superior audio to greater coverage - all at an affordable price.
The DM1400 is a 16 channel, numeric display radio which supports analogue and digital operation. Customer can also choose the analogue only model and upgrade to digital, when the need arises, via a software licence.
The DM1600 is a 160 channel, numeric display radio which supports analogue and digital operation. Customer can also choose the analogue only model and upgrade to digital, when the need arises, via a software licence.
The radios support Transmit Interrupt decode. This enables a supervisor to interrupt the users conversation to deliver critical communication exactly when and where it’s needed. (Note: a DM1000 radio cannot send TXI, only decode it).
The radios can also be managed in the Radio Management Suite via a wired connection. This allows you to program your customers radios quickly and efficiently, in batches to a standardized template, giving error-free results and optimized performance. (Note: OTAP is not supported in these radios).
Dual Capacity Direct Mode allows you to utilize the power of the 2-slot TDMA DMR standard to double the capacity of your 12.5 kHz channel, even on simplex.
The radios are of course IP54 Dustproof and splashproof; MIL-STD 810 compliant and have undergone Motorola's innovative ALT regime, so your customers can work with confidence in challenging environments.
