Here is a list of known TCP/UDP ports that you may come across in a Capacity Max system. Some ports are also used in other topologies like IP Site Connect and Capacity Plus. Some ports are not used in all cases.

This would be useful if you need to configure your Antivirus/Firewall to pass known good traffic. I created this list myself and there might be some that I missed - if I did, I'll add them in the comments.

  3. Wayne, i need help! I password my Radio code plugs with the RMS and trying to read or write but cannot due to the password stuff which I can't remember cos the system PC am using had problem so I installed new CPS version 15.

    1. There is no way to get the password. You would have to (re)program the radios from scratch.

      I keep my passwords in an envelope in a secret hiding place - that way if I ever lose them, I have a physical backup.

    2. Sorry, I reread your comment and noticed that you're referring to Radio Management and not the CPS/codeplug.

      The RM Client access password can be reset in the RM Server Utility.

  4. Add to that UDP port 69 for TFTP when you're uploading the sample config files into the switch and router. Otherwise this port is not used. Ask me how I know :-)
