Ugrading to Capacity Max - what kind of server does one need?

Q. We are on the middle of a Server planning's and because we my come to upgrades of our IP Site systems to Capacity Max what would be the requirements for Servers if we think of a system with 7k users , voice recording and gps tracking, approximately what would fit the needs?

A. A MOTOTRBO Capacity Max system consists of at least one Capacity Max System Server (CMSS). This server is delivered from Motorola Solutions in a fully functional state and only needs configuring to work within the radio network. It is not possible to put the CMSS software onto your own server.

The CMSS does not provess voice logging and location tracking. For this you will need an application 8and server to host it) like Consel Plus; SmartPTT Plus or TRBONET Plus. All three do voice logging - amonst other things.

The size of the server depends on a number of factors and the folk at TRBONET; SmartPTT and Consel all have documtation detailing their system requirements.
